NCReport 2.8.6 released. This is a bugfix release with some very useful new features.

Again a new version is out. NCReport 2.8.4 is better and much faster than the previous versions.

NCReport 2.8.3 is a bugfix release with many improvements and new features.
The 2.8.2 version was not officially published since that was a customized internal version.

Most important new features:

• Subreport iteration based on a dedicated subreport data source. The feature allows 1 level of repeated contents.
• Lines can fit to a section or zone. (Dynamic vertical lines)
• Group footers can be anchored to the page footer
• Report footer can be printed to a unique page.
• Existed field's (formatted) display value is allowed to use in expressions: $F{fieldID}

I'm pleased to announce that NociSoft website now is much faster than before thanks to a new server machine.

NCReport 2.8.0 is out. The report writer tool is again better and shipped with improved functionality. The most important new functions are conditional formatting and extended text document report.

NCReport 2.7.0 has been released. This release of NCReport contains many improvements and able to handle also cross tabulations. The software now is even much better for solving real life report printing problems.

Cross-tab table rendering is an important new feature of 2.7 NCReport version.
This function enables to print cross tabulation data. Data source records are represented in horizontal columns and rows are represented as data source columns. Horizontal & vertical summarization support.

Extended functionality in NCReport

At the latest version a new important function has been added to NCReport report generator system. Now you can add multi row / multi page cross-tabulations into the reports.
Reports are often contain tables or data in table style layout. Sometimes it is necessary to rotate results
so that columns are presented horizontally and rows are presented vertically. This is sometimes known
as creating a PivotTable®, creating a cross-tab report, or rotating data. In cross tab tables the data source
records are represented as horizontal columns and the cross-tab rows are printed as data source columns.
Tables often contain horizontal and/or vertical summarization as well. You can do it now with NCReport!

The latest version of NCReport (2.6.1) has been released. This is only a bugfix release.

The latest NCReport version has now been released.
There are many fixes and improvements that makes the tool even better.

New features development of NCReport reporting tool is on progress. The latest new feature makes the online services available in reports as well. An important example: Google API services, which allow to add online contents to the reports such as: Google charts, maps, etc. This new feature will give even much more freedom in report design and opens the door before online world.
